Restaurant applications for Summerlicious 2022 open April 14
The City of Toronto announced the return of its Summerlicious program, which runs from August 12 to 28. The renewed program aims to support the recovery and revival of Toronto’s restaurant industry while providing restaurant-goers with enticing experiences and delectable food. Changes to the Summerlicious program now make it easier for restaurants to participate – including waived fees for all participating restaurants, greater flexibility for restaurants to set menus and price points, and a simplified online application. CaféTO Program Next Steps
The last day to register to register for City of Toronto’s CaféTO program (temporary curb lane cafés) was
Saturday, April 2, 2022.
Applications received by the April 2 deadline and included a valid insurance and eating establishment licence will proceed through the technical review process of City of Toronto.
The installation of curb lane cafes is anticipated to start in early May.

– Once completed, the form will be uploaded to TPP records and serves as a valuable resource when officers are trying to obtain a contact number in the event of an incident at a business that may be closed.
