Did you know, that the column style on the Parthenon, is the Doric order?
The Doric order is one of the oldest styles of columns, going back to the Italian Renaissance, the Romans, and before them the ancient Greeks.
It is considered the most masculine and the strongest of the orders, and the ring, ‘Alberti’s Doric’, exemplifies this. It is architecturally accurate, with 20 flutes.
