Let's Get Vaccinated TO

Toronto is in Step Two of the Province’s Roadmap to Reopen. People age 12 and older are eligible to book first dose and accelerated second dose appointments at City-run immunization clinics. Appointments can be booked by residents through the dark blue “Book a Vaccine” button on toronto.ca/covid-19 or by calling the provincial vaccine booking line at 1-833-943-3900.

Free COVID-19 Rapid Screening Kits

The City of Toronto has partnered with the Toronto Region Board of Trade to provide free COVID-19 rapid screening kits to help small- and medium-sized businesses of 150 or fewer employees safely reopen.

Eligible businesses can visit bot.com/rapidscreening to order an initial four-week supply of testing kits and book a time slot for pickup at one of the following four locations:

  • Etobicoke Civic Centre, 399 The West Mall
  • North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge St.
  • Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Dr.
  • Fort York Visitor Centre, 250 Fort York Blvd.

Starter Company General Business Grant Program Now Accepting Applications

Starter Company Plus supports eligible entrepreneurs looking to build their small businesses. The program provides training, mentoring and advice. It also helps small business owners apply for a micro-grant of $2,500 that will assist with the growth and expansion of their business.  Eligible businesses may apply online by July 30.

Federal Government Launches Online Calculator to Help Businesses Apply for the New Canada Recovery Hiring Program

With the recently announced Canada Recovery Hiring Program (CRHP), hard-hit businesses will be able to hire the workers they need to recover and grow as local economies reopen. The CRHP supports payroll as businesses grow, whether as a result of hiring staff, increasing shifts, or increasing overall pay. Use the new online calculator or downloadable spreadsheet before you apply to find the amount of CRHP or Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy you can claim.
