Visitors can enjoy one of many local Bloor West restaurants, inside or on an outdoor patio. A BIA-wide business SIDEWALK SALE will last the whole weekend.

"We are delighted to bring Bloor West StreetFest back to the community!" says Alexandra Medarevic, Co-Chair of the Bloor West Village BIA. "The Festival's goal has always been to bring BIA businesses and the community together, to have fun and give back to residents as a thank you for their support. The value it brings to the community is intangible. The event has grown in popularity drawing visitors from across the GTA who love to explore our "small village in a big city," stroll the wide and beautiful streets, while taking in the festivities!"

Over 45 street vendors participate while local organizations like the Food Bank, Swansea Town Hall, Friends of High Park Zoo, Green 13, Stone Soup Network and others raise awareness about services and programs. Over 60 volunteers, many returning from previous years, help with the day's fun; a testament to the attractiveness of the event for all.

Of note, the SuperDogs are having a "PAT & CHAT" outside Ruffin's Pet Centre 10:00 – 10:30am at 2299 Bloor St W before the kick-off of exhilarating performances throughout the day. Other activities will include carnival rides, craft projects, face painting, and shopping in the artisan/vendor village. The kids and craft zone features birdhouse decorating, colouring a community mural, creating an origami crane to place on the "Bloor West Peace Tree", decorating (and eating) mini-cinnamon buns; all while supplies last. Guests can climb a rock wall, or sit and take it all in at one of the relaxation stations set up across the BIA. All are invited to the Speaker’s Corner, at the heart in Bloor West Village, to share thoughts on “What Makes Bloor West Village Great!

Admission and entertainment remain free! The carnival rides have a modest fee ($12/all-day ride wrist band or $3/individual ride), with partial proceeds donated to the 114 displaced families of the Swansea Mews. The residents recently lost their homes to a sudden and tragic building ceiling collapse. The families will be invited to attend the Festival, and enjoy free carnival rides for the weekend.
