Speaking of Power Jewels…
I have been watching the interplanetary war, futuristic science fiction show The Expanse.
Persian actress Shohreh Aghdashloo plays Her Excellency Chrisjen Avasarala, the current Secretary-General of the United Nations, who serves as both head of State and government of Earth.
While the wars and treasons between Earth, Mars, and the Belt are gripping, it is Avasarala’s outfits and jewellery that leave me asking every episode “what is she wearing now?”
All the other characters are dressed in quite drab flight and space suits; Her Excellency is always bedecked in the finest saris and colourful clothes, and the most stunning Power Jewels, exemplifying Her position and command.
Should She wear some of my jewels on the show??
